This reimagined design is a modern take on a moccasin and boat shoe, handcrafted in Italy with the utmost precision and care. Featuring the lightweight comfort of XLight rubber outsoles, hand-cut leather laces, and meticulously hand-sewn details on the toes, the Pillar Taos redefines luxury footwear.
The design draws deeply from my upbringing in New Mexico, where turquoise was a constant presence in our home—adorned in accessories, art, and even in the form of a turquoise sundial at the entrance. This sacred symbol of time, with its brilliant blue hue, influenced both the aesthetics and soul of this shoe.
